Cut the roll in half horizontally

Step #2: Cut your toilet paper rolls in half horizontally. Other plants like tomatoes, and peas like deep soil, so for those plants, don’t cut the rolls.
Make 4 cuts that’s 1/3 of the roll size
Step #3: At the bottom of each mini roll, make a cut that’s 1/3 of the size of mini roll. You should have 4 cuts at the bottom of each mini toilet paper roll.
Fold all 4 flaps to make a crease
Step #4: Fold the flaps to make a crease. After you’ve made a crease on all 4 of them, unfold them for the next step.
Fold the flaps like a cardboard box

Step #5: The last step to make these toilet paper roll seedling pots is to fold the flaps like a cardboard box. To do that, fold down the first 3 flaps, overlapping each other. Next, lift the corner of the first flap and tuck half of the last flap under it. Fold back the first flap. It might be a little tricky in the beginning, but with the pictures above, you’ll get it. Repeat this last step for the rest of the mini rolls.

Fill your DIY toilet paper roll seedling pots with soil and place them on a tray. Tie a piece of twine around the pots, to keep it from falling.
That’s all is there to it. It’s super easy. In 10 minutes, you could have a lot of these toilet paper roll seedling pots ready to plant. The last thing to do is to add some soil and plant some seeds. When those seeds are ready to transplant into the ground, place the entire pot into the hole.
Final Thoughts
Starting seeds doesn’t have to be expensive. You don’t need to use just toilet paper rolls as seedlings pots but can use other items like vinegar and water bottles. But the great thing about these toilet paper pots is that they can be directly buried into the ground without disturbing the roots.
