In this article, we will look at the best Father’s Day gift for 2022. Please note that we were not sponsored by the products mentioned below and are not affiliated with the company. We just think the products would be a great idea for dads in the 2022. Let’s begin!
Father’s Day Gift Idea #1
A Battery Operated Circular Saw: Years ago our uncle had a corded circular saw which he used to help us create our very first raised bed while living in the suburbs of the GTA. It was a good tool to use. When we got older, our parents consulted us about what kind of power tools we felt would be useful. Gardeners Caleb and Elisha picked a Ryobi Battery Operated Circular Saw. It was useful in helping create our raised bed and our herb garden bed.
Father’s Day Gift Idea #2
A Battery Operated Jig Saw: This was a saw we never previously owned so our first purchased was the battery operated version from Ryobi. The reason we went with battery operated was because we liked the idea of not being tied to a cord in one workspace. It is truly amazing to be able to take the tool anywhere in the yard to work on projects.
Father’s Day Gift Idea #3
A Battery Operated Pole Saw: This gift idea is a great idea for any dad with trees in the yard. It makes pruning and trimming those high branches easy. We don’t have this one yet but it is definitely on the list for us. There are a few dead branches high up that look unsightly and so will have to be pruned. This is a gift that dad will certainly enjoy.
Father’s Day Gift Idea #4
A Battery Operated Reciprocating Saw: This is a saw that was recommended by a friend of the family. She said it was her favourite tool for trimming branches off small trees around her house. Before that she was using a pair of large garden clippers. We were using the same garden clippers also. We took her advice and purchased this Ryobi tool. WOW! We were blown away at how much easier the job became. Trimming branches off pine trees, poplars, and more were a breeze.
These are our four give ideas for dads who enjoy working in the garden. Ryobi has their Father’s Day sale coming up with lots more tools on sale. Once again, this post is not sponsored by Ryobi. We are just recommending tools three really useful tools that we use and one that we’re thinking of getting soon because they are absolutely essential for the dad around the garden.

Finally, why wait for Father’s Day to appreciate your dad with a gift. He’s been your father every day since the day he made you with your mother. Why not just surprise him any day of the year with the gift of appreciation and kind words. He will always appreciate the recognition.
But don’t forget the tools too because a handy dad needs tools to get the job done. Until next time, continue to learn and grow.
