Isabella makes a very interesting hypothesis. She put forward that all of the global catastrophes that we worry about are not new trees but rather branches of a single common root. That root being poor soil. This is some deep, next level thinking. As humans, we take and take from the earth without giving the earth rest. Perhaps we are indeed exhausting the earth and creating a situation of poor soil conditions which is the root of other serious concerns.
